July 23, 2012:	Blankom introduces the EMA608 MPEG-4 HD encoder/multiplexer with AC-3 Dolby Digital
	The future-proof EMA608 4-channel MPEG-4/H.264 HD/SD encoder and multiplexer is a cost- and space-efficient 1RU solution for multi-channel encoding based on Blankom's proven encoder technology. Dolby Digital AC-3 audio encoding and ATSC table generation are standard features. The unit supports SNMP and can easily be integrated into any headend management and control system.
	The EMA608 can stream up to 16 SPTS or MPTS in multicast or unicast mode through its IP port. ASI inputs and outputs accommodate integration with legacy-equipment. Up to eight (8) encoders can be cascaded to generate bandwidth-efficient transport streams. Through its IP output port the unit can also be deployed as an IP streamer in an IPTV system.
April 2, 2012:	Blankom-Digital becomes Hilkom to clearly identify the two independent German companies in Bad Blankenburg (Blankom) and in the Hildesheim area (Hilkom) especially for the international customers. The name change will have no effect on customer relationships or product names.
